In 1971, King Kalakaua Center began as a vision shared by Linda and Rene Tillich, Ph.D. Together, they wished for a change in the way mental health service were delivered and took it upon themselves to establish a clinic that would live up to their ideals. Today's clinic, now located in East Honolulu, is the legacy of that wish. Our clinicians are still individually selected and trained. We still practice in an environment that furthers growth, education and development of these clinicians. Perhaps most importantly, the clinic is held together by a shared vision of therapy in which the practitioners are consistently genuine, empathetic, highly skilled, and truly keep our clients interests at heart. |
 Our clinic has evolved as it has accumulated and refined the experiences
of the many seasoned clinicians who have contributed over the decades.Today we are comprised of 8 independent practitioners, each with unique qualities, styles, and specializations to fit diverse needs. Our psychologists, psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, and licensed clinical social worker all work with both individual and couples psychotherapy. |
